Review of Alpha & Omega: A Companion Novella to Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

Alpha and Omega

Title: Alpha & Omega
Series: The Companion Novella to Cry Wolf
Author: Patricia Briggs

Official Synopsis
In Cry Wolf, New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs started a new urban fantasy series set in the world of Mercy Thompson -- but with rules of its own. Now, read "Alpha and Omega," the novella that inspired the new series, and see how it all began...Anna Latham never knew werewolves existed, until the night she survived a violent attack... and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the Chicago pack, she's learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But when she discovers wrongdoing in her pack, she has to go above her Alpha's head to ask for help.Charles Cornick is the son -- and enforcer -- of the leader of the North American werewolves. Now his father has sent him to Chicago to clean up a problem there. Charles never expected to find Anna, a rare Omega wolf -- and he certainly never expected to recognize her as his mate...

My Review
I read Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series (and loved it!), so I figured I'd give this series a try. I was not disppointed. This series is based on Charles (Samuel's brother, for you Mercy Thompson fans) and Anna. Charles is the enforcer of the wolves and Anna is a new wolf who was turned without a choice. When Anna turns turns to Charles for help, both learn to discover to expect the unexpected. Not only do they find themselves attracted to eachother, but Anna is not at all what she seems. She's an Omega, and her pack must pay for their wrong doings.

This book is superb! What I love about this book, and Briggs writing in general, is that it's action packed, romance fueled, and leave you panting for more! If you liked the Mercy Thompson series, then definitly pick this book up today!
This book is rated 5 fangs:
