How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?
It depends. This week I had to take 5 finals *sigh* so I only read two books, usually I can go through a book a day if it's really good and about 2-3 books a week. I told you I live my life in the Otherworld most of the time..lol. I actually never listed to an audio book *gasp* Maybe one day. I read mostly digital copies - I'm a nookie- and hard copies as well.

What's your reading style?

Book Blogger Hop

Question: "What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked? Which have you disliked?" It's not a movie, but a TV show and I know I may catch a lot of hate emails, but I prefer The Vampire Diaries show vs the books. I have a habit of having to finish books even if they are bad in hopes that it will get better, but the books just didn't do it for me. The show is a hit! I can say the same about all of Nicholas Spark's books. I prefer every single movie to his books. There I said it - bring on the hate mail..lol. As for book over movie, nothing comes to mind. Most books are better than the movies, unless you are Nicholas Sparks..hehe.

Question: "Please tell us a little about yourself and what you read?"
I'm Evie, young, married book lover who spends my days at work and my nights in the Otherworld. I love paranormal romance and urban fantasy, although I do read the occasional chick-lit and romance books. I am so happy with the invention of an e-reader because I was literally drowning in books before - thank you tech geniuses. I have a passion for books, chocolate and tequila, many times simultaneously. And most of all, I love to make new book obsessed friends!

Have a great weekend!

A kindred spirit! lol I'm the same way with Vampire Diaries AND Nicholas Sparks. I feel so much better that someone else agrees! And I've never listened to an audio book either - I think my mind would wander, plus it's just not the same as actually READING. Your blog is awesome, btw, I feel like I'm going to be here all day just looking around lol

I hear so much about the Vampire Diaries. I'd really like to watch them one day. The Vampire Diaries and True Blood seem like shows I can get behind! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog hop/follow friday as well!

I prefer books more than movies too, but there are a couple that I prefer the movie to the book. And, like you, one of my choice will probably spur some hate mail, lol.

I just recently started listening to books. I'm still experimenting. But I find that it is fun if you can't read at the time. I listen while I am driving to and from work.

You really should try an audiobook sometime, you might like it. I think you can put e-audiobooks onto the Nook, but I haven't tried it yet.

Happy Friday!
I'm following you now.

Hey there!
I go through withdrawl symptoms too whenever I finish a particularly good read :) Then (if it's a series like, oh say, BDB *winks*) I have to go back and read my favorites just to get over it. And wow, a book a day? That's just crazy talk. You must have a supernatural ability or something lol.
Have a great Friday!

Already a follower and blogging by from the FF and 18+ Blog Hops!

I also love reading paranormal and urban fantasy. Also occasionally read a romance or chick-lit book.

We both have a passion for books and chocolate in common!

Have a great weekend!

Let’s kick off Memorial Day Weekend with some scandal and controversy.

I absolutely loved every minute of the Lord of the Rings films and felt they hit the mark when they brought Tolkien’s masterpiece to the big screen.
(ducking as rotten tomatoes are thrown at me as the torches are lit and the pitchforks raised)

Wait, wait. I can explain! Hop on over to my blog and hear me out – http://www.howardsherman.net

Hey Evie! Just hopping over from the blog hops.

Wow, everyone seems to read wayyyy faster than I do. I'm lucky if I get through one book a week.

I sadly haven't read The Vampire Diaries, but it's on my TBR list (with about 100 more series), and haven't read anything by Nicholas Sparks either. His books seem a little to sappy for me. I mean, I like romance, but I need lots of action and some blood and guts along side of all the mushyness.

Hope on over to my blog to see what my favs/least favs are - Have a great weekend!

Oh yea and sister I'm with ya on the V.D series vs. the books.
*ducks from flying tomatoes*
Shhhhh calm down and hear me out

Ok so I love the show, and I read the first 6 books...while they were okay they werent great...but I kept reading. Then I waited a year for Midnight (Vampire Diaries) to come out, even pre-ordered it. Then I got it, made myself suffer the firt 120 pages, and said screw it. I just simply don't care about that version of Elana, Damon, Stephan, and the gang. Now I have 6 books sitting on my shelf completely useless to me:( I think I out grew the books...
