Review and Blogoversary Giveaway of Dragon Blues by Edie Ramer

Dragon Blues (Dragon series)

Title: Dragon Blues
Series: Dragon Series
Author: Edie Ramer

More giveaways and more fun! This is the latest book by Edie Ramer, author of Cattitude and Dead People. She proves just how amazing and talented she is with Dragon Blues. It is, like all of Edie's books, original, witty and a completely un-put-downable read. Let's get into my review and giveaway details!!

Official Synopsis
Once a dragon…
Saxophone player Noah Long shifted from dragon to human 2500 years ago, but the dragon blood still coursing through his veins has kept him healthy and virile. Now his secret is out, and the man who discovered it will do anything to make Noah’s blood his own. Noah’s only ally is martial arts expert Lila Fox, who heats up the fire in his belly…and his heart.

Twice a killer…
Lila Fox’s first kill was at age sixteen after her stepfather put her mother in a wheelchair. Fourteen years later, she kills another abuser to save a woman’s life. When the man who wants Noah’s blood kills her sister, she can’t let the death go unanswered. She teams up with the strangely compelling Noah, and discovers he’s not all man and has a few tricks of his own.

My Review
Whenever you pick up an Edie Ramer book you can expect three things: An original read, a romance that will take you on an emotional ride, and a book that is a complete page-turner. She proves this to be true with Dragon Blues.

Lila is a kick-ass, take no prisoners heroine that you instantly love. She has had a hard life and is always prepared for whatever come her way, that is until she meets Noah.  Noah is a loner, a blues lover and a dragon who transformed to takes on a human appearance. He lives a solitary life until the day Lila walks into his life. Lila's junkie sister brings them together, and a murderer threatens to tear them apart. With Lila's hunt for revenge, Noah's drive to protect Lila, and the murderer after Noah's blood and Lila's silence - will they be able to take down the murderer before it's too late, or will their romance be over before it has really began?

This book will have you on the edge of your seat and screaming for Noah and Lila to have the happily ever after they both deserve. Will it happen? Read it and find out!

Evie, thank you for a great review! I love the way you phrase your sentences. If you ever decide to write fiction, you already have the writing chops.
