Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?

Don't Die, My Love transformed my life in many ways. When I was younger I was dealing with the illness of a very close cousin who later died, my mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and my grandfather was left fighting for his life after getting a rare disease called Guillain-Barre Syndrome which left him paralyzed. I was young and had a lot to deal with and I found solace in the similarity of Julie's situation in Don't Die My Love in which she falls in love with Luke, the HS football star Luke. They have everything to look forward to, a future full of happiness and dreams. Those plans come to a spiraling halt when Luke is diagnosed with cancer. Together they must look for the light when darkness surrounds them and lean on each other as they face an uncertain future. This book touches my heart every time I read it and although it is a YA novel, I always find myself pulling out the battered copy every once in a while.

Hi new follower stopping by!

I'm glad the book you mentioned helped you through such a difficult time. And I agree with your interest in reading Bloodlines early, but since we weren't in the lucky few to get the ARC, we don't have long to wait to read it.
I love your blog name BTW

Check out my FF
