Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

I think my Paromantasy readers will know the answer to this one...Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series. Oh, it is so highly addicting and anyone who has not read it truly needs to run out and buy a copy. Are you running?...I'll wait..lol Here is my review or should I say gush-fest :-) Vampire Academy is the book that completely changed me into a true die hard PNR and UF fan. Why? Because Richelle Meade made a book that is both YA and adults can read. A book that has it all! A book that can easily become "Book Crack"  I can never get tired of it and even after rereading it several times, it still makes my heart race and my eyes sleepy from staying up to read it from beginning to end in one sitting. It has danger, romance, mystery, thrills, chills and a bad-ass heroine that will make you her personal cheering squad.

Reading Challenges: Did you sign up for any this year? How has your progression been?

I've been a super slacker this year. I usually enter, but I've been too busy with work, school, my blog and writing my first book. Hey, there's always next year. For now I'll live vicariously through your challenges..lol

That's it for now. Have a great weekend and I can't wait to start visiting your blogs!

I’m seeing a lot of single answer responses with Twilight being by far the most popular choice. I really must analyze all the elements of that series that send girls ga-ga. Such studies are a part of the never-ending "code breaking” we males need to continuously execute to understand and relate with the fairer sex.

I’ve cracked about 80% of the code. I will continue cracking the code until I reach 100% success. Then I’ll write a book for men and become a billionaire overnight.

BUT I DIGRESS....

I’ve got four different series I can read over and over again. Three of them were written by deceased authors and three of them are fantasy adventures.

Follow me back to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and find out how far off the beaten track I’ve gone with my favorite book series!

Thank God it’s Follow Friday!

I did enter a challenge and I've failed at it miserably. So, at least you didn't fail by not signing up, lol. :)

I can re-read Twilight over and over. I haven't read Vampire Academy, but I'll have to check it out!!

I'm working with an author that I wanted to make sure was on your radar. I think you'd be into his debut novel. It's called (S)mythology by Jeremy Tarr. If you want a unique PNR – no werewolves, vampires, or fey in sight! - you might enjoy (S)mythology. It’s sort of a modern day fairytale, and the heroine braves life...death...and the underworld to be reunited with her HEA (or is he?). :) It’s a sweet book, great illustrations, super fantastical in the Edward Gorey/Tim Burton vein. Hope you check it out and like it! :)

The first three chapters and illustrations are available at http://www.smythology.co.uk.

The book is on sale for $2.99 at both Amazon and Barnes & Noble:
Kindle: http://amzn.to/promoprice
Nook: http://bit.ly/bnnookprice

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Hopping through. Yay for Vampire Academy. I'd like to reread the series before the next Bloodlines books comes out.

I so need to pick up VA again. I have the first book, but I really loved Mason and was worried about what would happen to him. Loved Dimitri, too, but I wasn't really worried over him or Rose. Rose could take care of herself (and did). A few people have said this series...I'm convinced I've just gotta try it again. Hope you're having a great one!
